Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Toomzi iOS application and website handle information. It should be updated whenever the app’s data practices materially change.

1. Who we are

Toomzi is a driving and journey organisation application. Privacy questions can be sent to support@toomzi.com.

2. Information you provide

The app may allow you to enter information about vehicles, journeys, destinations, costs, notes and preferences. In the current version, this information is intended to be stored on your device unless a feature clearly states otherwise.

3. Location information

With your permission, Toomzi may access your location to support maps, place search, route planning or related journey features. You can control location access in iOS Settings. Toomzi does not require continuous background location access unless a future feature clearly requests it.

4. Apple and platform services

Some app functions may rely on Apple frameworks and services, such as MapKit, location services, StoreKit, iCloud or device backups. Information handled by those services is subject to Apple’s applicable terms and privacy practices.

5. Website information

This website is hosted using GitHub Pages. Basic technical data, such as IP address, browser type and request logs, may be processed by the hosting provider for security and delivery of the site. The website does not currently use advertising trackers or sell personal information.

6. Payments

If paid features or subscriptions are offered, purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store. Toomzi does not receive your full payment-card details.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only when needed to provide a requested feature, comply with law, protect users or operate services described in this policy.

8. Data retention and deletion

Locally stored app information can generally be removed by deleting entries in the app or deleting the app, subject to any device or cloud backups. For support enquiries, you may ask us to delete information you have sent directly to us.

9. Children

Toomzi is not directed specifically at children under 13 and does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, but no electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as Toomzi develops. The updated date will appear at the top of this page.
